It all kicked off when I—a fed-up regular ol' citizen—caught a whiff of pure stupidity and couldn’t keep quiet. I flung open the blinds on a commissioner wannabe who couldn’t scratch out a financial disclosure if their life depended on it, serving up that incompetence piping hot for all to gape at. But once the truth hit the fan, the vipers struck—turns out, calling out their clownery’s a sin if it stings the wrong egos. Next thing you know, three stooges—including a puffed-up Wakulla County Commissioner—got nabbed for doxing some wide-eyed newbie who’d barely been here two years. Not me, mind you, and not that “average Joe” Facebook troll who lives to poke the BOCC online. Nope, they hit some poor unsuspecting citizen who fled their state’s lousy policies, thinking our rural slice of heaven might mean peace, not a petty smackdown.

That’s when I snapped. Watching our “leaders” spew venom at an innocent bystander—just for breathing the same air as us critics—turned Wakulla Reports into a warhorn for the pissed-off masses. Now, “Annie Rants” is my turf—a no-mercy breakdown of our witless Board of County Commissioners and their limp administration, who’d rather polish developers’ shoes than guard the rural heart we’re scrapping to keep.
